Lucky to have found Sol after months of people sucking their teeth about repairing our original Georgian staircase. The work was excellent, he took real care over the details and made sure we were happy at every step. Clean; tidy; punctual; and a lovely bloke to have around - easygoing, not pushy in any way.

Sol ordered and hung some beautiful pine doors for our house, as well as sourced and fit some beautiful handles. Completely transformed our house! Really chuffed with his work 🙂

Sol has built some great alcove cupboards and shelves, as well as help me get some doors back to the original state. His work is of a high standard, he always kept me up to date with progress. We love his work, I would recommend SJ Woodwork to anyone.

Sol did a fantastic job for us installing a solid wood backdoor. Despite adversity from a difficult supplier (which Sol didn't choose), he was patient in making sure the job was done properly.

Sol has done a lot of work for us in the past few months, including replacement of internal doors, flooring installation, staircase repair and creating storage in our attic eaves. Everything always finished neatly with minimal mess in a timely manner. We have been very happy with all the work. Sol is also friendly, personable and communicative. Always arrives on time and advises of any necessary delays. Highly recommended!

Recently hired Sol to build some alcove shelves for our house - they are exactly what I wanted and he provided such a professional and friendly service. Can't recommend enough!

Sol at SJWoodwork has done great work for us recently - he has designed and constructed shelving to house our TV/audio system, a bespoke window seat with storage, and most recently added a dado rail throughout our hallway and landing. You can rely on Sol to be punctual and he'll always let you know when there are issues. Sol listens well and contributes ideas when discussing your requirements. Overall, quality work and great value.

Very very pleased with the work done by SJ-Woodwork on designing then building a bespoke secure shed for my motorbike on my drive. Great to have the understanding and communication to consider and discuss the design in the first place - then to have Sol come in and expertly build the thing. Very creatively and well done. Looks and functions great. All at a reasonable price with costs well explained.

Sol has done amazing work in our home as we prepare to welcome our first baby. He’s really professional and a calm presence when he is working. We are so pleased with the built in shelves and handrails that he has built for us! So much so that we’ve booked him immediately to do more work in our home this autumn. Five stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sol has just completed a project in our office, fitting new laminate floor , skirting boards and new door. All finished to a high standard, it looks amazing and just what we wanted. Very competitive prices and already asking Sol about our next project! Thanks SJ Woodwork 👍
